TERMS OF SERVICE
Payment is strictly on completion of the works, unless you already have signed up to a credit account (Credit account requires pre approval credit checks and minimum spends)
After hours and weekends service attract a higher rate.
Cancellations of 24hrs notice can attract cancellation fee.
All supplied goods are owned by us and deemed as our property until paid for in full.
The person making the booking is responsible for the payment at completion even if it is not your property. This includes but not limited to tenants of rental properties, property managers and real estate companies.
Warranty call out is for standard week days only between 8am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday, and excludes public holidays. (cancellations of warranty bookings of less than 24hrs notice will attract a cancelation fee, must be paid in full before any further work is carried out)
Warranty call out if deemed not a covered under the warranty then normal charges apply.
All warranty work is done in house by Metro Electrical 24 Hour Electricians, we do not cover costs of warranty work that is serviced by a third party. Any loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts or anticipated savings are not covered under warranty claims.
Warranty is limited to the labour and parts supplied by Metro Electrical 24 Hour Electricians only.
Warranty does not include non supplied goods e.g.(parts supplied by customer) or any part of the electrical installation that was not worked on.
Damage to supplied goods voids the warranty.
If any other person or electrician works on the electrical installation warranty is voided.
Parts supplied by us are covered by a 1 year warranty. This does not include wear and tear and any tampering with goods or acts of God.
For owner supplied goods we do not cover any warranty. The warranty for owner supplied goods are covered by the manufacturer or supplier where goods are purchased.
All products we supply are up to Australian electrical standards and come with a 1 year warranty, we reserve the right to not install a customer supplied electrical goods if we believe they are not up to Australian standards. Any goods that is supplied by the customer that are found to not be up to Australian standards after the fact voids all warranty. Faults arising from power surges, failures and misuse of equipment are not covered under warranty as it is not deemed to be a faulty product or installations, generally speaking damage to your electrical installation caused by power surges or outages are covered by the network service provider
If we deemed something to be covered under warranty we will cover all parts and labour specifically associated with the warranty claim, which will be covered by Metro Electrical 24 Hour Electricians. We will not cover any repair/replace cost not approved by us. For any warranty repairs or insurance claims all out standing invoices will need to be paid up to date to be processed. With replacements under warranty products that need to be replaced will be replaced with same products or similar at our discretion if the original product is not available or has not live up to our standards if the customer requests a different type of product, the cost different will need to be paid by the customer.
Furniture or goods in the work area must be clear. We take no responsibility in moving of furniture or goods in the work area as we are not furniture removalists. We don’t mind helping but we take no responsibly for any damage. We recommend having the work area clear. This will make the job quicker and then less costly for you.
Expense covering damage arising from hidden or unknown contingencies found at the job site: example – faults or deteriorations of the building structure, pre-existing conditions of the site, heritage or preservation orders, finding of hazardous substances and the like, unless specifically noted in the tender/quoted price.
We reserve the right as our part of our duty of care to disconnect, isolate any dangerous or hazardous wiring or products even if the owner or resident doest not approve or give consent. If this occurs the matter can will be referred to Energy Safety/Western Power for an judgement, as we take electrical safety very seriously.
If goods supply by owner is proven to be not suitable or the customer has a change of mind we not cover any cost in relations to disconnecting or replacing the product.
Adjustment of Sensors and Timers
When installed we will ask your requirements for these type of products and set them to what you ask, any further adjustments that we are called specifically out for will be charged out at standard rates. Saying that if we are already on your site for another job we will be happy to adjust these for you at no cost.
